BB5 AU
Big Brother 5 (Australia) started yesterday. The show is currently sitting on my laptop and I'll probally maybe perhaps get round to watching it tonight. I've still got some episodes of Lost, CSI, CSI:M, etc to watch and WoW to catch up on. I used to watch at least an hour of downloaded TV each day and spend 2 hours minimum playing WoW. A couple of weekends, I may have spent a whole day from sun up to shut eye in front of the PC. Breaks for food and nature was the only rest I'd get. It was a very easy addiction to kick with the help of my two girls. After living with other geeks for years and then by myself for ... ummm ... about 18 months I think, it's a welcome change to "get real". I need to get mydownload TV fix tonight though.
Oh, Dr Who! I forgot I've got a new one of those to watch. Viewing last weeks episode on the plane to Perth was fun. The guy beside me was obviously interested in seeing some hot Dalek action but it was mostly lots of furtive glances and sideways viewing. The laptop only has one headphone port and I wasn't going to waste the batteries by using the speakers :)
Anyway, this post was supposed to be about Big Brother. I hope that BBBAU doesn't play such a shit stirring role as they did last year. No I'm not talking about benzyloxybenzyloxybenzylacyclouridine, but rather the Behind Big Brother Australia site. Got a bit up their own arse they did. Credited themselves with influencing the outcome they did. So busy patting themselves on their own arses, they didn't have time to give their site a redesign for the new year. Shit people, it ain't 2004 anymore!
The only other BB fan at work said "OMFG. What did gretel do? she looks more like a whore than ever." He's already resigned so I don't get the satisfaction of firing him :(
I've been watching the Big Brother opening episode for the last 90 minutes so don't really have much left to see. I kinda have been working as it's been playing in the background but I've also been slowly writing this blog entry as well. Show up to work, stuff round, get paid. I can live with that.
The housemates all appear to be dickheads and slappers at the moment. Perhaps an overreaction against the excess of coupled, inhibited people last year. Oh well, just 15 minutes or so of it left to watch. Do I go home and see it or continue "working" here? Sod, it. I'll keep pretending to do some work.
